We at Gainesville Dogs understand that this is a trying and difficult time for everyone. We want to do whatever we can to make sure that your pets are still getting the best care possible while keeping everyone safe and healthy while we all work together to get through this pandemic. We have tailored our services to better serve you and to comply with all CDC distancing and cleaning recommendations! So, what can we do for you?
We have put many special procedures in place for all of our staff that will help them maintain proper social distance, reduce the risk of transmission and overall be as clean, safe and courteous as possible. We know this is a strange time to have someone coming into your home and we want to give you the utmost confidence in our staff to be respectful and take this responsibility seriously. All of our staff are feeling well and not exhibiting any symptoms. When one of our staff members is getting ready to visit your home, they will put on clean clothes and wash hands thoroughly right before leaving their home. When they arrive, they will sanitize their hands and put on a mask before entering. Every effort will be taken to touch as few surfaces and items as possible to complete your scheduled services and when our staff has completed the services, all touched surfaces and items will be cleaned with sanitizing wipes. They will spend as little time inside your home, and in as few rooms as possible while still giving your pets the highest level of care and attention.
New Routines, New Solutions
For many, our work schedules and routines have changed greatly due to isolation procedures or by being designated an essential worker. If you find yourself working from home it can be wonderful to be around your pets all day long, but sometimes you might need a little break, and that’s ok! Maybe you’ve got a big project you need to power through or an important meeting that cannot be interrupted. We can provide contact-free walks, play time, and many other services even if you are home! Your walker can call or send a text message (your preference) to let you know they’ve arrived, then pick up your dog from the fenced back yard, side door or any other similar more isolated area that’s available! You will be able to make a perfect plan for your home, schedule and dog with your walker when you schedule our services.
Many of our other services, such as grooming and training, can be done outside in the yard to maintain good social distance and reduce person to person contact if you are home. While some of our services may be more difficult to provide or be unavailable such as trips to the dog park, nature park walks, or socialization training, we will do whatever we can to provide the services you need while upholding the new health procedures.
Please feel free to discuss additional measures and precautions with your walker, we always want you to be comfortable with our staff member being in your home. Gainesville Dogs appreciates your business now more than ever and are willing to make all reasonable accommodations so we can continue to care for your beloved pets.
