Gainesville Dogs knows that your pets are your family and you do everything you can to keep them happy and healthy. Unfortunately sometimes our friends get sick and need a little extra attention. It’s never fun when you have a sick pet, and we are here to make it all easier to handle. Whether your pet needs more intensive care short term or regular care for a chronic condition, our trained and experienced care staff can be a lifeline in the routine medical care for your pet!
One problem that most of us will deal with at some point during the life of our pet is fleas.
Those terrible little jumping, biting bugs that can feel just impossible to get rid of. Trust us, we’ve all been there before and we know how frustrating it can be to get fleas off of your pet and out of your home! Our capable staff can help you get back to normal in no time. We’ll set up a consultation to make you a customized plan of action, from getting rid of current adults and eggs to helping you plan your future flea prevention. We’ll give your pet a bath and a flea-removal brushing too. The best part? All of the products and techniques we use and recommend are pet and child safe, and proven effective, so you don’t have to worry about any of your loved ones coming into contact with harsh chemicals!
Don’t forget to ask your pet concierge how we can help you track and administer your pet’s regular flea (and other parasite) prevention routine!

Lots of our furry friends need routine care, maybe once or twice a month, that can be easy to lose track of. Dogs with long, furry ears can need regular ear cleanings. Maybe your special buddy has extra sensitive skin and needs regular medicated baths. We’ll work with you to set up a convenient schedule for one of our experienced staff members to come by and make sure your pet is receiving the care they need and deserve right on time. We can even assist with the administration of medications prescribed by your veterinarian.
Unfortunately, our pets do sometimes get sick or injured.
What do you do if the vet recommends a post visit care routine that requires attention more often than you are able to provide due to a work or school schedule? You can call Gainesville Dogs of course! From medicating to wound site cleaning, bandage or dressing changes or any other directions your vet may have given, our staff has the knowledge and ability to provide that care. Even if you just want us to check up on a recovering pup for your own peace of mine, we will be there for you and your pet in their time of need.
